Romeo needs a home
It might be the day after Valentine’s Day, but if you’re still looking for your perfect match, look no further than Romeo! Romeo is a 4 year old American Staffordshire Terrier who came to the shelter after being found as a stray in late December. Romeo was somewhat shy and shut down when he first arrived, and it took some work with our Behavior Team to help build his confidence enough to move him to the adoption floor! Romeo is a little shy when he first meets new people, and is still working on learning how to be more confident when walking on a leash. Once Romeo gets into our play yards, though, you’ll see his spunky and playful side come out! Romeo is a lovable dog just looking for a forever home to call his own. His ideal home would be one that can commit to working with him on his leash-walking issues, and a big backyard to give him plenty of space to run and play! Romeo may benefit from going to a home with another dog who can show him the ropes and help him become more confident, although we always encourage dog intros at the shelter. If Romeo sounds like a good fit, come meet him at HHS today!
